Internship

Testimonials:

Mitul

I loved my time at Studio68, going from intern to employee. It gave me a platform to learn new skills, confidence, and knowledge of an industry that I loved working in. The constant innovation and the fast nature of the industry gave me a good understanding on how production works behind the camera.

I loved my time at Studio 68, it gave me the chance to experience the fast-paced environment within the sports industry whilst still allowing me to express myself creatively. This gave me the skills necessary to excel and stand out in the industry and also put me ahead of other candidates. The constant need to innovate and stay ahead of the competition is a major positive of working here and prepared me properly for the challenges I’d face in a professional club.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

MANCHESTER CITY FC

Erin

Doing the internship, alongside studying at university, I started with Paddock FC as a camera operator and editor, expanding my skills to a fast paced football game. I was then able to shadow and eventually develop new skills of vision mixing and live producing. Because of the internship I have been able to work with other companies such as FIVEUK, with Rio Ferdinand, Studio68 and the BBC and BBC Sport with working on two consecutive Olympic Games.

An internship at Studio 68 was the best thing I ever did in terms of my career. At the time I was struggling to get a job within the sports media industry. I gained experience at Studio 68 creating work for social media pages which generates millions of views which brought exposure to my work and for me eventually led to a job at the studio. The experience of working in the studio is great as you could be working on so many different projects and have the creative freedom to show off your skills and help grow the social platforms.

Studio68 allowed me to develop my creative, practical and theoretical skills which helped my University studies as well as setting me up for working in Television. The industry standard levels of production happening multiple times a day across various different platforms is a testament to how varied and exciting the opportunities are there, whether that be covering Manchester United news, producing a live stream of a Rock Band performance, or producing video content for Saturday league football matches.
